Today in Science, we started our topic of life and looked specifically at teeth. We learnt that children have 20 teeth and when we get our secondary teeth, that changes to 32. We know there are 4 different types of teeth and what job each of them does.
Once we had matched the right teeth to their names, everyone was given an apple to bite into to see an iprint of their own teeth. This helped us clearly see the size of our teeth and identify which ones were missing ready for our secondary teeth to come through. Some lucky children were also chosen by our random name generator on Class Dojo to receive a new toothbrush and toothpaste.
