From June 2021 we began running our own ‘in-house’ catering service. Using the expertise of professional chefs employed by the Trust, the leadership team of the academy took this decision to support us in our vision to run a catering service that provides fresh, healthy and filling meals to our students.
Our catering provision sources local fresh food and it is based on cooking wholesome meals from scratch that are filling, nutritious and tasty for our children.
Each day the children will be offered a choice of the meal of the day, with a variety of roasted and fresh vegetables, or a pasta dish served with optional garlic bread and cheese or a filled sandwich. In addition, there will be a pudding of the day and a selection of fruit and yoghurt for the children to pick from.
The price of a main meal and pudding is £2.40 each day and the children will also be able to select a piece of fruit or a yoghurt if they wish, which is included in this price. Universal Free School Meals and Free School Meals all still apply.
