On Thursday 16th January, 6 pupils (2 teams of 3) attended the annual Grantham Boccia Festival at Kings Sports Hall. Having won the tournament for the previous 2 years, hopes were high!
The pupils competed against 16 schools from across Grantham and the surrounding area. The competition was fierce in the groups stages, leading to the knock out stages. Sadly, it wasn't to be a third title. However, one of the teams secured the bronze medal.
Over and above the participation in the competition, the pupils represented the school beautifully. They exemplified the school values, especially this term's value of Welcoming Difference. It was truly a pleased to take these pupils to the festival!
